Our Programs
At Perrysburg Commons we set ourselves apart by three very important programs:
Circle of Care Program - At Perrysburg Commons you’ll hear a lot about the Circle of CareĀ®. This is a company-wide philosophy that supports our high standards for the way we treat our customers and one another. At the heart of the Circle of Care is a very simple idea: Every employee affects the satisfaction and well-being of our patients, whether we care for patients directly or support those who do. Our employees put the Circle of Care into action every day by providing quality care in a caring environment. This means doing our best to complete every task in a caring way, and even looking for ways to go above and beyond what is expected. The Circle of Care workshops help our employees learn how to put these ideas into action, to make more caring decisions and to set our company apart. It’s part of a tradition of excellence that has made us the choice of thousands of patients and families.
Guardian Angel Program – The Guardian Angel Program was developed to help the company express its primary goal – serving and meeting our resident’s and families’ needs quickly. Guardian Angels are staff members who work at the center and serve as an advocate for the resident to meet their needs. The staff members make special visits to the resident to see if we can help solve a concern, to ask a specific question, or just to talk.
Heart’s Desire Program – The Heart’s Desire Program has fulfilled hundreds of wishes since 1997. The Heart’s Desire Program is designed to enrich the lives of the residents, encourage them to take advantage of all that life has to offer and continue their active participation in the community. Perrysburg Commons has helped fulfill many wishes including riding on a motorcycle, attending the Lawrence Welk show at the Stranahan Theater, going fishing with a resident’s son, riding in a helicopter, and visiting a resident’s home town in southern Ohio. Join us and we can help fulfill your Heart’s Desire.
